To facilitate easy identification of all PWCs imported into the
EU by the authorised representatives since January 2006, an on-line
Craft Identification Number (CIN) checking system has been
developed, which is available to market surveillance authorities
across Europe.
The database contains up-to-date information on
Recreational Craft Directive compliant craft imported by the
authorised representatives.
The database can be accessed here.
The website is available in German, English, Spanish, French and
Italian. Details of this website maybe passed to all market
surveillance offices in member states and they are encouraged to
use it.
